  1. How can I send data to CTS, if the email button is disabled?
    • If the button "Send Email" is disabled after entering study and center, your email system is incompatible with TaXi. Then please use the button "Save As" to save the file "send####.cts" on the disk and send the file as attachement of a regular email to taxi.cts@med.uni-heidelberg.de.
  2. Is it possible to use DBF database files with other applications?
    • No, FoxPro files are different than dBase files and must be exported using Visual FoxPro. Beginning with release 1.1.5, it will be possible to save TaXi exported files in dBase format.
  3. Is there a possibility to set User and Database of the Login window to default values?
    • Beginning with release 1.1.5, the following optional parameters can be entered in the taxi.exe program command line:
      -user (User Name)
      -source (Data Source)
    • It is no longer possible to make entries in the Login window when these parameters have been entered.
  4. Why is the message, "Cannot find TaXi installation path?" displayed during the installation of a patch?
    • This message is displayed when the patch is not installed from the same computer on which the TaXi program was installed, and thus no corresponding entry in the registry of the system is found. In this case, beginning with the Patch to Release 1.1.6, it is possible to manually select the installation path.
